Thermostatic TRV Radiator Valve 1/2" x 15mm Lockshield Pair Angled Corner Black Brass White
A high-quality thermostatic radiator valve and lockshield set with a traditional wheelhead design, available in three versatile finishes and two orientations. Select your preferred combination from the dropdown menus above.
Each set includes one thermostatic radiator valve (TRV) and one matching lockshield valve, supplied as a pair with 1/2" BSP to 15mm compression connections. The solid brass valve body ensures reliable, leak-free performance, and the traditional styling works equally well on modern panel radiators, column radiators, cast iron radiators, and towel rails.
The built-in thermostatic head gives you independent temperature control over each radiator in your home. Set your preferred room temperature and the valve automatically adjusts the hot water flow to maintain consistent comfort. Unlike standard manual valves that only offer on or off control, a TRV lets you dial in precise temperatures for each room — keeping living areas warm, turning bedrooms down for better sleep, and reducing heating in unused rooms. Over a full heating season, this targeted approach can make a noticeable difference to your energy bills.
FINISHES AVAILABLE
White — A clean, understated finish that blends seamlessly with white and light-coloured radiators. White valves are the most discreet option, allowing the radiator to remain the focal point while still providing full thermostatic control. The ideal choice for family homes, rental properties, new builds, and any room where you want the valves to disappear into the background.
Brushed Brass — A warm, golden metallic with a soft brushed texture that brings a premium, contemporary feel to any radiator. The brushed surface naturally resists fingerprints and water marks and coordinates beautifully with brushed brass taps, towel rails, shower fittings, and bathroom accessories. An excellent choice for those upgrading from standard white or chrome valves and looking to make a style statement.
Black — A bold, modern finish that creates striking contrast against light-coloured radiators and walls. Black radiator valves are one of the strongest ongoing trends in interior design, pairing perfectly with anthracite and grey radiators as well as matt black taps, towel rails, and bathroom fittings. An ideal choice for industrial, Scandi, and contemporary interiors.
ORIENTATIONS AVAILABLE
Angled — The most widely used valve type in UK homes, designed for pipework that approaches the radiator inlet from the wall or floor at an angle. If you are unsure which orientation you need, angled is the most likely choice for your setup.
Corner — Designed for pipework that rises vertically from the floor directly beneath the radiator valve inlet, forming a 90-degree connection. Commonly used where pipes run beneath the floorboards and come up directly below the radiator.
⚠️ Angled and corner valves are NOT interchangeable. Please check your pipework layout carefully before selecting your orientation. Choosing the wrong type will result in the valves not fitting your installation.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
One pair consisting of 1 x Thermostatic Radiator Valve (TRV) with traditional wheelhead handle and 1 x Matching Lockshield valve. Connection size is 1/2" BSP x 15mm compression, suitable for standard UK copper pipework.
PLEASE NOTE
Select your desired orientation and finish from the dropdown menus before adding to basket. The valve connection is 1/2" BSP x 15mm compression — if your pipework is 10mm microbore, you will need 15mm to 10mm reducer inserts which are sold separately. These valves are compatible with most UK central heating systems. Professional installation by a qualified plumber or heating engineer is recommended.
